Creative Writing Courses

I have run creative writing courses for twelve years. A number of these I have co-tutored with John Killick and we have worked together at Missenden Abbey Weekends several times running prose and poetry courses. We have also run courses at the Nant Centre in North Wales and at Holland House in Cropthorne, Worcestershire. Several of our courses have focussed on writing for self-discovery. Others have included aspects of the writing process and writing about landscape. We have also run writing courses for the boroughs of Enfield and Haringey, The Poetry School and Sheffield Libraries.

I have run courses or one-off workshops for Anglia University, writing groups such as Thin Raft Poets in Reading, the Essex Girls Poetry Collective, Norwich and Ipswich Poetry Societies. For the last five years I have co-facilitated The Second Light Conference at Launde Abbey, Leicestershire

Note: My regular Poetry School workshops: The Prose and Poetry Workshop and Taking Your Writing Further are currently full but if you would like to be added to my waiting lists please e-mail by attachment preferably 4 poems or two short pieces of prose or prose extracts.
